What does AI Detection do?

AI Detection helps you figure out if a text was written by a human or generated by AI. It breaks down the text into paragraphs and analyzes each section individually to give you detailed results.

How accurate is the AI Detection?

Genaios provides over 98.9% accuracy in AI Detection, surpassing industry standards. (SemEval-2024, Task 8 - Winner)

What does the “Human” percentage mean?

Paragraphs labelled in green show the parts of the text that were identified as being written by a person.

How do we determine if content has been generated by artificial intelligence or a human?

Genaios breaks down the text into paragraphs and analyzes each one to determine if it was written by an AI or a human. The way we do this is summing the total number of words in texts segments. Each segment is evaluated with model predictions, and the cumulative word count represents the proportion generated by an AI or a human. Then Genaios calculates an average over the entire document.

How long does the AI Detection process take?

The processing time can vary depending on the length and complexity of the content to be verified. However, Genaios generally provides results within seconds.

How are the results of AI Detection presented?

Results are displayed as percentages, showing the proportion of human-generated and AI-generated content in the text.

What does the “AI” percentage mean?

Everything we display with a red label is the part of the text identified as AI-generated. This is useful for detecting sections that may not have been written by a person. Genaios also identifies the LLM family suspected of generating the text.

What can I use the Fact-Checking feature for?

You can use the Fact-Checking feature to detect misinformation. Genaios identifies claims in the text and performs a fact-checking analysis by comparing them with reliable sources, highlighting whether the claims are supported or contradicted by them.

How long does the Fact-Checking process take?

The processing time can vary depending on the length and complexity of the content to be verified. However, Genaios generally provides results within seconds.

Can you verify any type of content?

Yes, Genaios can verify a wide range of content, including news articles, social media posts, blogs, and other online texts. However, the quality of the verification may vary depending on the availability of relevant and reliable sources for each specific case.

What categories are used to group Fact-Checking results?

Results are categorized as:
- Support: Claims are backed by reliable sources.
- Contradict: Claims are refuted by available sources.
- Inconclusive: No sources confirm or refute the claim.

How does the Fact-Checking process work?

Genaios uses search engines like Google and Bing to verify claims by comparing them with available online sources. Integration with your domain specific corpus is also available.

What types of sources do we use for Fact-Checking?

Genaios selects the five most relevant and reliable sources available online. These sources can include news articles, academic publications, government reports, and other verified and recognized references. Integration with your domain specific corpus is also available.

How does the Fact-Checking process with artificial intelligence work?

Genaios uses artificial intelligence models to conduct searches for sources that either validate or contradict specific claims. Then, our system analyzes the top five most relevant sources and presents them to the user to help them assess the veracity of the information.

Does Genaios provide evidence for fact-checking results?

Yes, Genaios provides direct links to sources used for supporting or contradicting claims, ensuring transparency.

What does the Text Originality feature do?

It checks if your text matches other content online. This is crucial for avoiding plagiarism and ensuring your content is original.

How are the results displayed?

You get percentages for each level of similarity, and Genaios also includes links to the sources where the matches were found. This makes it easy to check and validate the results.

What does the "Word-by-Word" similarity level measure?

This level identifies exact matches in text, providing a quick indicator of textual plagiarism. Genaios calculates the percentage of similarity based on matching words within the analyzed fragments.

What is the purpose of the "Semantic" level in similarity detection?

This level identifies conceptual similarities between content, even when there are no literal matches. Genaios calculates the percentage by assessing conceptual equivalences in the text.

How does Genaios evaluate originality?

The Genaios performs three levels of analysis:
- Word-by-Word: Identifies exact matches of words.
- Paraphrasing: Detects modified structures with the same meaning.
- Semantic: Finds deep similarities based on the meaning of content.

How does the "Paraphrasing" level detect similarities in content?

This level detects similarities in rewritten content, recognizing sentences with modified structures but with the same meaning. The percentage reflects how much of the text matches at this level.

How do these similarity detection methods differ from each other?

- Word-by-Word: Identifies exact word matches.
- Paraphrasing: Recognizes rewritten content with the same meaning.
- Semantic: Detects deep similarities based on conceptual meaning, even without literal matches.
